[Financial News] As demand for K-beauty grows in Australia, Kolmar Korea took part in a local expo with client companies and held export consultations worth about 6.8 billion won.
According to industry sources on the 8th, Kolmar Korea participated with six client companies—Goodai Global (Round Lab), Paket (Mixsoon), Merci Co. (Heobeullum), iUNIK, Givest (Nine Tails), and HK inno.N Corp. (Bewants)—in the 2026 Melbourne Hallyu Expo, held in Melbourne, Australia, from the 5th to the 7th (local time).
Kolmar Korea and its client companies held around 150 export consultations at the event. According to Kolmar Korea, the consultations were worth about 6.8 billion won, accounting for more than 10% of all consultations at the expo.
About 30,000 people visited the two-day event, which was open to the general public, and an estimated 15,000 of them visited Kolmar Korea’s booth. The booth displayed sunscreens, essences, creams, sheet masks and other products, and offered a program to check UV protection and try sun-care products.
Demand for Korean cosmetics is growing in the Australian market. According to the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Australia’s imports of Korean skincare products totaled $147.7 million last year, up 42.1% from the previous year.
A Kolmar Korea representative said, “At this expo, we were able to showcase the competitiveness of K-beauty products to local buyers and consumers alongside our client companies,” adding, “We will continue to actively support our client companies in expanding their sales channels in the Australian market and pursuing global expansion.”
