[Financial News] K-SURE said on the 8th that it had selected 21 new member companies for “Export Growth Planet,” an export support program for small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies.
Export Growth Planet is a program that groups companies by annual export revenue—up to $1 million, up to $30 million, and up to $100 million, among other tiers—and provides support tailored to each company’s size. Benefits for member companies include a special export credit guarantee limit of up to 10 billion won, discounts of up to 90% on insurance and guarantee fees, 30 free credit investigations of overseas companies, and tailored consulting.
The guarantee coverage ratio for export financing has been raised to 100%, and the guarantee limit can be extended for three years without being reduced. The requirement to provide a personal guarantee under the responsible-management system is also waived. Since beginning to operate the program in July 2024, K-SURE has provided 64 existing member companies with trade insurance totaling 2.8 trillion won. K-SURE President Jang Young-jin said, “We will be a steadfast partner, helping our member companies find new opportunities in global markets and strengthen their export competitiveness.”
