[Financial News] Shift Up Corporation has expanded its flagship title, 'Stellar Blade,' to Nintendo consoles, following its release on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PC. The strategy is to broaden the reach of an established game that has performed well in global markets and attract new users.
According to industry sources on the 6th, Shift Up Corporation officially launched the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade, 'Stellar Blade Complete Edition,' worldwide that day.
This is the first time Stellar Blade has been released on a Nintendo console. The Nintendo Switch 2 version supports the motion-control features of its dedicated controller, Joy-Con 2.
The Complete Edition includes the base game and all additional downloadable content (DLC) created in collaboration with other games, including 'Nier: Automata,' 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' and 'Bayonetta.'
Users can download a free demo from the Nintendo eShop, Nintendo's online store.
The Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 contains all the game data on the cartridge, allowing players to play without a separate Game-Key Card or additional downloads.
Shift Up Corporation has also released the 'Bayonetta' collaboration update for the PS5 and PC versions at no cost. Existing players can use four Bayonetta collaboration outfits for the protagonist, Eve.
When it launched exclusively, the PS5 version ranked among the top preorders in around 60 countries. The PC version also ranked No. 2 in top-grossing games on Steam, the global gaming platform, immediately after launch, and No. 1 among paid games. It also ranked among the top sellers in major markets, including the United States, Japan, China and South Korea.
