NVIDIA said it held a press briefing for NVIDIA RTX Spark at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul on the 6th and demonstrated its key technologies and features. RTX Spark is a computing platform for Windows PCs that combines NVIDIA’s RTX graphics technology with its AI platform. It supports up to 128GB of unified memory and 1 petaflop of AI computing performance.
A key feature is that it enables a local AI environment where AI tasks can be performed directly on a PC without relying on external cloud services.
RTX Spark was first introduced in Korea by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang last June, and domestic sales began at a launch event held at COEX in Seoul on the 16th of last month.
At the event, Jeff Yen, NVIDIA’s director of technical marketing for Asia Pacific (APAC), outlined the evolution of RTX technology and changes in the local AI market. In particular, Yen explained potential applications for developers, content creators and gamers, focusing on RTX Spark’s superchip technology and partner ecosystem.
Demonstrations were held in three areas: AI agents, content creation and gaming. In the AI agent category, the company showcased “Chief of Staff,” which helps manage schedules, and “Microduck,” which assists with development tasks. These examples illustrated how local AI agents can be used for everything from everyday task management to robotics development.
In content creation, the company demonstrated an AI-based video production process using “Video Producer Agent.” It also showed how AI can be incorporated into creative work through “Music Performance Reimagined.”
In gaming, the company demonstrated “NBA 2K27” and “AION 2.” It showcased graphics quality and game performance using RTX graphics and Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology.
Attendees got hands-on experience with RTX Spark-based laptops, including the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, ASUS ProArt P16, MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+, and Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n.
