[Financial News] NH Nonghyup Bank has overhauled its digital services for customers enrolled in retirement pension plans. It has improved key features, from trading products and searching for investment products to managing maturities, to make it easier for customers to manage their retirement pensions on mobile devices.
According to financial industry sources on the 6th, Nonghyup Bank revamped its digital retirement pension services on NH Allone Bank and NH Smart Banking. In response to rising demand for pension asset management using digital finance, the bank focused on user-centered improvements to make it more convenient for customers to manage their retirement pensions on mobile devices.
Key changes include improving the “MY Retirement Pension” screen to make transactions and product management more convenient, enhancing investment product search and information features, and expanding the guidance and registration features for products designated for purchase when retirement pension deposits are made.
The bank added the ability to buy and sell held products on the “MY Retirement Pension” screen. It also improved the service so customers are directed to the appropriate trading screen based on product type and transaction type, including exchange-traded funds (ETFs), guaranteed interest contracts (GICs) and funds. The screen now displays the number of deposits and GICs with maturities within one month and lets customers go directly to the maturity management screen for those products.
The investment product search feature was also improved. Customers can now apply various filters when searching for ETFs and funds, including investment region (domestic or overseas), investment themes (such as semiconductors, defense and energy) and whether an asset is considered risky. The bank also improved the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to make it easier to view three-, six- and 12-month returns and detailed information on each product.
The bank also expanded the guidance and registration features for products designated for purchase with incoming deposits for individual retirement pension (IRP) customers. It provides advance information on products to be purchased before a deposit is made, allowing customers to review their investment plans ahead of time. The registration limit for these products has increased from five to 20, supporting pension asset management using a wider range of products.
Jo Yun-hwan, head of the Pension Business Department at Nonghyup Bank, said, “This improvement to our digital system focuses on helping customers manage retirement pensions, which they may find complicated, more intuitively and conveniently.” He added, “We will continue to expand differentiated, customer-centered digital financial services.”
