Kolon FnC Named Official Sponsor of the Chungcheong 2027 FISU World University Games

[Financial News] Kolon Industries FnC Division will participate as an official sponsor of the Chungcheong 2027 FISU World University Games.
According to industry sources on the 6th, Kolon FnC signed an official sponsorship agreement in the uniform category with the Chungcheong 2027 FISU World University Games Organising Committee at Kolon FnC headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 5th. Officials, including Kim Min-tae, CEO of Kolon FnC, and Yeom Hong-cheol, chair of the Organising Committee, attended and pledged to work together to ensure the successful running of the Games.
Helinox Wear, the outdoor brand operated by Kolon FnC, will support the production of the official uniforms. Uniforms will be provided to around 26,000 people, including Organising Committee executives and staff, volunteers, and competition operations personnel. The plan is to enhance breathability, freedom of movement, and durability for sports environments, and to use designs that reflect the identity of the Games and the spirit of sport.
The Games, to be held from August 1 to August 12, 2027, across four cities and provinces in the Chungcheong region, including Daejeon, Sejong, North Chungcheong Province, and South Chungcheong Province, will bring together around 15,000 athletes from some 150 countries worldwide.
A Kolon FnC representative said, “We are pleased to join as an official sponsor of this meaningful international sports event, which brings together university athletes from around the world,” adding, “We will bring to bear Kolon FnC’s accumulated expertise in fashion and outdoor apparel, along with our product development capabilities, to enhance the value of the Games and present uniforms that support on-site operations.”
