[Financial News] Hanon Systems, an automotive thermal management company affiliated with Hankook & Company Group, shared trends in the AI data center thermal management market with its partners and raised approximately 80 million won for a fund to support vulnerable groups in local communities.
On the 6th, Hanon Systems said it had held the “2026 Shared Growth and Giving Forum” jointly with the Partner Companies Council on the 29th and 30th. This year marked the event’s 16th edition.
A total of 107 people attended: 22 Hanon Systems employees and 85 people from the Partner Companies Council. As Hanon Systems marked its 40th anniversary this year, Vice Chairman and CEO Soo Il Lee attended in person and spoke with partner company representatives.
The first day’s seminar was held at Daejeon Techno Dome. It began with remarks from Vice Chairman Lee, followed by an introduction to Hankook & Company affiliates and sessions on the direction of the aftermarket business and purchasing strategy. Participants then shared trends in AI data centers and the thermal management market and technology, along with industry developments and key issues, and discussed future directions before the event concluded with an awards ceremony.
A charitable giving event was held on the second day. A fund of approximately 80 million won was raised, including a 10 million won donation from Hanon Systems. The funds were delivered to several organizations, including the Incheon Catholic Children and Youth Foundation, and will be used to support vulnerable groups in local communities. Hanon Systems and the Partner Companies Council have continued these community service activities since 2011.
“The experience and trust we have built together with our partners are more important than ever amid the rapidly changing automotive industry,” Vice Chairman Lee said. “We will continue to communicate regularly with our partners, understand each other’s difficulties, and maintain a relationship in which we grow together.”
