[Financial News] I feel deep gratitude for receiving such a meaningful award, as I have merely fulfilled my duties as a researcher in the field of robotics. While it is a great honor, I also feel humbled when considering the hard work of my more accomplished colleagues. I will accept this award as both encouragement and a request to repay it by achieving even better results in the future.
This sense of responsibility feels even greater now that the robotics industry is facing a major turning point due to the rapid advancement of physical AI technology. Recently, robotics has garnered attention not merely as a means of automation, but as a core technology with the potential to solve various problems in industry and society, and in response, it is undergoing remarkable evolution. However, for this potential to translate into tangible results, not only are improvements in performance and the securing of safety and reliability essential, but so is cooperation among various technological fields and industry stakeholders to apply research findings to industrial and service sites as well as daily life.
To address these challenges, I will dedicate myself to research and development alongside fellow researchers from various fields to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Korea's robotics industry. At the same time, I will strive to ensure that the results of technological innovation lead to changes in the lives of the people and industrial sites, ultimately contributing to the development of the Republic of Korea.
