【Financial News, Gapyeong = Kim Kyung-soo, reporter】 Students at Seorak High School in Gapyeong County, Gyeonggi Province, have been sharing with local neighbors in need for the fourth year in a row.
According to Gapyeong County on the 5th, Seorak High School visited the Seorak-myeon Administrative Welfare Center the previous day and donated 100 winter care packages.
Students in grades 1 and 2 took part in the donation. The packages contained daily necessities such as snacks, soap and hand cream, as well as items needed for the cold winter, including gloves and hand warmers.
The donation ceremony was attended by Seorak High School Principal Jeong Han-ung, Vice Principal Kim Tae-guk and Student Council President Jeong Ga-yeong, among others.
The donated items will be delivered to vulnerable groups in the area through the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.
