[Financial News] Nano Silican Advanced Materials said on the 5th that it had officially launched its next-generation product authentication platform, VERIC, and would step up its digital business.
VERIC is a digital platform that builds on and enhances MCheck+, the product authentication service Nano Silican has provided to date. It goes beyond verifying product authenticity, expanding its capabilities to track and manage the entire distribution process, from production to the end consumer.
In particular, the platform's tracking capabilities have been strengthened to provide a systematic view of each product's distribution history. It can also detect abnormal signals, such as products leaving authorized distribution channels or suspected distribution of non-genuine products, and alert client companies. This helps clients monitor product distribution and proactively respond to the risks of irregular transactions and the distribution of counterfeit or knockoff goods.
The platform has also been made much more user-friendly. The user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the existing MCheck+ service have been redesigned with users in mind, and the screen layout and usage steps have been refined so that product information and distribution histories can be checked intuitively. The company said that improved access to product authentication and distribution history checks has enhanced the efficiency of clients' distribution management.
Nano Silican plans to continue expanding the range of applications for VERIC and gradually add features that allow ordinary users to participate directly in the platform. In the long term, it aims to develop VERIC into a platform where users can register their collections, introduce them to other users, interact with one another, or exchange items.
A Nano Silican representative said, “VERIC will enable companies to manage product distribution more effectively and proactively respond to the risks of irregular transactions and the distribution of counterfeit or knockoff goods.” The representative added, “We will continue to enhance related features so that clients can protect their brands and products and make use of distribution information.”
An industry source said, “Product authentication services are being used more broadly—not only to verify the authenticity of individual products, but also to manage distribution histories and identify anomalies.” The source added, “Securing both the reliability of distribution data and user convenience will be key to a platform's competitiveness.”
