[Financial News] Hyundai Steel Company has launched a digital archive platform to centrally manage corporate historical records accumulated over more than 70 years since its founding. The platform allows employees and executives to upload photos, videos and documents themselves, as well as search and use existing materials.
Hyundai Steel Company said on the 5th that it had launched H.ARCHIVE, a digital archive platform that encourages participation by employees and executives.
H.ARCHIVE is divided into an “Archive” function for collecting, classifying and preserving materials, and a “Curation” function that organizes historical materials into themed content.
The Archive section lets users search and view key company photos, videos and documents and use them for work or content creation. The Curation section groups materials produced at different times by themes such as history, technology and people, presenting them as exhibition-style content.
Employees and executives can upload materials they have to the platform themselves. After review by an administrator, uploaded materials are preserved as official archive records.
Hyundai Steel Company began in 1953 as Daehan Heavy Industries Corporation. A company representative said, “Going forward, we plan to collect additional records scattered throughout the company through initiatives such as data-collection campaigns targeting employees, and to use the materials we have accumulated for corporate promotion, exhibition content and other purposes.”
