【Financial News Jeonnam-Gwangju=Reporter Hwang Tae-jong】“We will help Gwangju-area test takers with limited mobility take their exams safely and comfortably.”
The Fire Headquarters of Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City (Gwangju Special City) will provide 119 transport services for Gwangju-area test takers with disabilities or limited mobility due to accidents, injuries or other circumstances on the day of the 2027 College Scholastic Ability Test, which will be held on the 19th.
After advance reservations are made, the service will safely transport test takers by 119 ambulance from home to the test site on exam day and provide transportation home after the exam ends.
Fire Headquarters Chief Lee O-suk said, “I hope test takers with disabilities or limited mobility will make active use of this service so they can take their exams safely and comfortably.”
Test takers or guardians wishing to use the service can make a phone reservation with their nearest fire station (Gwangju area only) by the 18th, the day before the exam. To ensure smooth transport, they should provide in advance, when making the reservation, information about the test taker’s mobility and the school serving as the test site to which transportation is needed.
The Fire Headquarters’ Gwangju Regional Deputy Headquarters also plans to station qualified paramedics at every test site so they can respond swiftly to medical emergencies, fires and other safety incidents that may occur at the sites on exam day.
Fire Headquarters Chief Lee O-suk emphasized, “We will do everything possible to ensure safety inside and outside the test sites and respond to emergencies so that test takers can fully demonstrate the abilities they have worked hard to develop.”
