[Financial News] Samsung E&A has taken its push into overseas markets to the world’s largest energy event, showcasing its AI-powered technology and project execution capabilities.
Samsung E&A said on the 5th that it had participated in ADIPEC 2026, held from the 2nd to the 5th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
With a history spanning more than 40 years, ADIPEC is the world’s largest energy event, bringing together energy-sector experts from governments, businesses and academia around the world. This year’s event was held under the theme “Results Amid Crisis: Energy Systems for a New Era” and drew about 240,000 attendees.
Samsung E&A set up an exhibition pavilion this year under the theme “Energy Realism: Sustainability, Diversity and Speed of Execution,” showcasing technologies and solutions in AI, project execution innovation and safety. In recognition of its capabilities, it was named an “Impact Champion,” a distinction awarded to only 16 of the more than 2,300 participating companies.
Samsung E&A is also using international energy conferences to expand its engagement with major clients and partners. In June, it held the third Samsung E&A Tech Forum, where it discussed ways to collaborate on technology with more than 600 representatives of global companies, including ADNOC, the UAE’s state-owned oil company, ExxonMobil, Petronas and Boeing.
After participating in GASTECH, an international energy exhibition held in Bangkok, Thailand, in September, the company continued to expand its engagement with overseas energy companies, including by operating an exhibition pavilion at the World Petroleum Congress (WPC) in Saudi Arabia in October.
A Samsung E&A representative said, “Global energy events are an important platform for meeting project owners and partners in person, building trust and identifying business opportunities,” adding, “We will continue to expand our presence in overseas markets through various communication channels.”
