Korea Investment Management Co., Ltd. said on the 5th that it would hold a “Plus Bingo” event for users of the Investment Plus mobile app, awarding up to 3,000 won in NAVER Pay points.
Investment Plus is a platform designed to let users compare exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and public offering funds in one place and build investment experience. Since its launch on the 12th of last month, it had recorded 71,000 new users and 7,000 registered members as of the 4th.
The event involves using key features within the app. It consists of five missions: checking in three times, registering interest in an investment package, visiting the recently viewed products section, trying the “Investment Time Machine,” and starting a mock investment.
The Investment Time Machine is a feature that lets users check returns to date on the assumption that they had invested in a product at a specific point in the past, and compare the results with those they would have achieved by choosing a different investment alternative. Mock investing lets users buy and sell products with virtual funds and experience changes in their assets.
Users receive 1,000 won in NAVER Pay points for completing one mission, and an additional 1,000 won each for completing one and two bingo lines, respectively. Completing all the steps earns users up to 3,000 won.
Ryu Ji-hae, head of the Digital Strategy Division at Korea Investment Management Co., Ltd., said, “To better understand investing, it is important not only to review product information but also to directly experience and compare different investment methods,” adding, “We hope this event will give investors an opportunity to explore investment methods that suit them.”
