On the 5th, Renault Korea Co., Ltd. said it had signed a business agreement the previous day at Jamsil Baseball Stadium with Ilguhoe, an incorporated association of former professional baseball players and coaches, and agreed to jointly lead “Jamsil The Last Inning by Renault.”
The signing ceremony was attended by Renault Korea Co., Ltd. CEO Nicolas Paris and Vice President Jo Won-sang, Ilguhoe Chairman Kim Gwang-su, Secretary General Gu Gyeong-baek, and others. The two sides agreed to work together to celebrate with fans the history and memories of Jamsil Baseball Stadium, which is on the verge of a new transformation, and to expand touchpoints between brands and customers through sports.
The event will be held at 2 p.m. on the 14th at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. Ilguhoe will host and organize it, with Renault Korea Co., Ltd. participating as title partner. Around 60 legendary players from Ilguhoe and the Korea Professional Baseball Retired Players Association (Han Eunhoe) will take part in the game. There will also be a fan-signing session, on-field activities, and a final ceremony for the players.
Renault Korea Co., Ltd. will display its brand on the participating players’ uniforms and helmets and in key areas of the stadium, and designate some outfield seats as the “Renault Zone.” It will set up a booth in the stadium plaza to display the Filante Noir Edition and Grand Koleos, among other vehicles. CEO Nicolas Paris will take the ceremonial first swing before the game and personally present a trophy shaped like Renault’s diamond emblem at the MVP ceremony after the game.
Renault Korea Co., Ltd. said the partnership reflects its desire to share with consumers its brand philosophy of “a car that accompanies you every day.” This year, it has operated a “Renault Zone” in the third-base outfield at Busan’s Sajik Baseball Stadium, provided a Grand Koleos as the bullpen car at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, and also served as title sponsor of the Renault Busan Open Tennis Championships 2026.
“Renault Korea Co., Ltd. aims to become a brand that goes beyond being an automaker and creates meaningful experiences in customers’ lives,” CEO Nicolas Paris said. “Starting with this partnership, we will share the passion for baseball loved by customers in Korea and build even more genuine relationships with them.”
