[Financial News] December & Company, which operates Fint, an artificial intelligence (AI) discretionary investment service, is holding an event offering department store gift cards to individual retirement pension (IRP) users ahead of year-end tax settlement.
According to financial investment industry sources on the 5th, December & Company is holding a deposit event through December 31 for new and existing subscribers to its Fint IRP discretionary management service.
Users who add at least KRW 3 million to their contracts during the event period will receive department store gift cards worth up to KRW 50,000, depending on their net deposits. Users who reach the annual discretionary management limit of KRW 9 million will also be entered into a draw for one KRW 500,000 gift card and ten KRW 50,000 gift cards.
Those wishing to participate must make their deposits and apply for the event by the end of this year, then keep their assets invested for the full month of January next year. The gift cards are scheduled to be distributed at the end of February next year. IRP contributions, combined with pension savings contributions, are eligible for an annual tax credit on up to KRW 9 million. For those with an annual gross salary of KRW 55 million or less, the tax credit rate, including local income tax, is 16.5%, resulting in tax savings of up to KRW 1,485,000.
The Fint IRP discretionary management service manages retirement pension assets using ISAAC, an AI investment engine developed in-house. Once users select an investment management approach suited to their investment preferences, asset allocation, trading and portfolio adjustments are handled automatically.
December & Company CEO Song In-seong said, "Consistent management is important for achieving good results with retirement pensions." He added, "Drawing on our asset allocation management expertise accumulated over 10 years, we will help more users manage their retirement pensions more easily and conveniently."
This past June, December & Company expanded its IRP discretionary management service partnerships to include BNK Busan Bank and BNK Kyongnam Bank. It currently works with eight retirement pension providers, including Samsung Securities Co., Ltd., Korea Investment & Securities, and KB Kookmin Bank.
