On the 5th, Kia announced that senior auto consultant Jo Du-hwan of its Seogwangju Branch in Jeonnam-Gwangju had surpassed 4,000 cumulative sales and become a ‘Grand Master.’ Jo, who joined the company in 1994, sold an average of 125 vehicles a year over 32 years. Jo is Kia’s 42nd Grand Master.
Grand Master is a title awarded by Kia to auto consultants who reach 4,000 cumulative sales. Kia presented Jo with a commemorative plaque and a reward vehicle.
Jo said, “Selling cars is not simply about making sales; it’s about building relationships and maintaining trust,” adding, “I will continue to learn and take on challenges, and become a sales professional who sets an example.”
Kia operates a long-service sales honors program and the Kia Star Awards, among other initiatives, to help auto consultants in the field take pride in their work and compete in a healthy way. The long-service sales honors program awards the titles of ‘Star’ for 2,000 cumulative sales, ‘Master’ for 3,000, ‘Grand Master’ for 4,000, and ‘Great Master’ for 5,000.
