President Kim said that day, “I will put warm housing finance into practice so people can make a fresh start with a stable home as their foundation.” The “Finance That Saves Lives” campaign is a public-interest initiative launched last July by the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency to protect people struggling with illegal private lending and spread the value of “Finance That Saves Lives” throughout society. It has expanded its pool of participants by having each person nominate two or three people to take part next, starting with its first participant, Korea Inclusive Finance Agency President Kim Eun-kyung. President Kim was nominated by Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) Chairman Kang Seung-jun. He recommended Korea Financial Consumer Protection Foundation Chairman Kim Dae-hyun and Korean Society of Financial Consumer Studies President Yoo Seung-dong as the next participants.
As of that day, a total of 87 people had participated in the campaign, and 56 people had been nominated to take part in it in the future.
