The complex will allow residents to use the existing amenities in Gaheung while enjoying the living spaces and community facilities of a newly built apartment complex.
The area around the complex in Gaheung-dong has schools, private academies, commercial facilities and medical facilities. Yeongju Gaheung Elementary School, the Gaheung-dong academy district, Yeongju Seonbi Library and Yeongju City Library are all nearby.
Residents will also have access to the commercial district in the Gaheung housing development, Nonghyup Hanaro Mart and Yeongju Red Cross Hospital. For transportation, major areas in Yeongju can be reached via Gaheung Intersection, Yeongju-ro and Gyeongbuk-daero. The Jungang Expressway provides access to destinations farther afield, and residents can also use KTX Yeongju Station and Yeongju Integrated Bus Terminal.
Major industrial facilities, including the Gaheung General Industrial Complex and the SK Specialty General Industrial Complex, are also nearby. A cultural park covering approximately 7,400 sq m is planned near the complex.
Community facilities will also be provided within the complex. Plans include a study space featuring the study-café and reading-room brand Jakshim, a fitness center and an indoor golf range. The fitness center is set to be equipped with exercise machines from the Matrix and Vision brands.
A sales representative said, “Triven Gaheung will offer access to Gaheung’s everyday amenities, including education, transportation, shopping, medical care, and cultural and sports facilities, and a large cultural park is also planned. We plan to present the complex as one designed with residents’ convenience in mind, with mostly medium- to large-sized units and a variety of community facilities.”
Meanwhile, Doosan Enerbility continues to pursue overseas energy projects, including its selection this year as a strategic partner for key equipment for Rolls-Royce’s small modular reactors (SMRs) in the UK, its participation in manufacturing equipment for US-based TerraPower’s next-generation SMRs, and its winning of an Oman gas-fired combined-cycle power project.
Doosan Enerbility plans to apply to its housing business the quality and safety management capabilities it has built up through energy plant projects, including large nuclear power plants and gas-fired combined-cycle power plants. It also plans to draw on its experience building apartment complexes, including Seoul Forest Trimage in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
