[Financial News] Savills Korea, a global real estate services firm, has been handling property management (PM) and operations for Yuhan Corporation's mixed-use cultural space Willow House, which won the Presidential Award, the top honor at the 2026 Korea Space and Culture Awards.
According to Savills Korea on the 4th, the Korea Space and Culture Awards, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST), recognize projects that raise public interest in dignified living spaces and help improve the quality of people's cultural lives. This year's Presidential Award winner, Willow House, was transformed in its entirety from Yuhan Corporation's longtime former headquarters into a mixed-use cultural space for citizens. The jury praised the project for successfully reviving a historic space as a public space for citizens and setting a new standard for public spaces led by private companies.
Savills Korea has overseen property management and operations at Willow House since April. The achievement is considered a leading example of the company's successful expansion of its property management (PM) services into cultural and mixed-use spaces, beyond its traditional focus on commercial real estate such as offices, retail properties and logistics centers.
Savills Korea is going beyond basic facilities management (FM), actively taking on the planning and operation of cultural programs tailored to each space's characteristics and value. In line with Willow House's operational focus on mutual growth with the local community, the company has partnered with the Dongjak Music Association to present a range of cultural and artistic offerings, including high-quality music concerts. It plans to continue developing and operating tailored programs that align with the space's public character and purpose.
With this project as a turning point, Savills Korea has further strengthened the foundation for tailored property management services optimized to the nature of each asset and the characteristics of its users. The company plans to expand its services by responding nimbly to demand for professional operations not only in commercial real estate but also across a variety of cultural and mixed-use facilities.
Lee Su-jeong, CEO of Savills Korea, said, “Willow House is a highly meaningful project in which a space steeped in history has been reborn as a cultural venue that connects with citizens,” adding, “Drawing on our professional operational expertise and our understanding of each space's characteristics and purpose, Savills Korea will actively support Willow House so that its unique value and emotional impact endure for years to come.”
