[Financial News] Hyundai Steel has launched 'Steel-X,' a generative AI platform that integrates the search and analysis of internal documents and data and provides AI services for work. It enables employees to choose between in-house AI systems and external AI services according to their work needs, and to create work chatbots and AI agents without any development expertise.
Hyundai Steel said on the 4th that it had introduced 'Steel-X,' a generative AI platform jointly developed with Hyundai AutoEver. The goal is to consolidate internal documents and data dispersed across multiple systems and departments, and reduce repetitive information searches and document drafting.
Steel-X's key features include turning internal knowledge into an asset, an integrated multi-AI environment, an AI playground for employees, and links to business systems and data.
First, it automatically converts documents scattered across Microsoft (MS) Teams and internal business systems into formats that AI can use.
In the integrated multi-AI environment, employees can choose and use the most suitable service from among in-house AI systems and external AI services, depending on the nature and purpose of their work.
In the AI playground, employees can use personal documents or team folders to create work-related knowledge chatbots and AI agents without any development expertise. The services they create can be shared at the individual, organizational, or companywide level.
The platform also includes a feature for linking data with internal business systems. This enables AI to be used not only to search and summarize documents, but also to retrieve and analyze business data.
Hyundai Steel plans to use AI to search internal regulations and work manuals, summarize technical documents, and analyze equipment histories and operating data. Going forward, it plans to expand AI agent capabilities and links with business systems to reflect the needs of employees in the field, and to pursue companywide AI transformation (AX).
