[Financial News] Hanwha Corporation E&C Division will open a model home for 'Hanwha Forena Jije Station' in Segyo-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, on the 6th and launch sales in earnest.
According to Hanwha Corporation E&C Division on the 4th, Hanwha Forena Jije Station will be built at and around 725 Segyo-dong, Pyeongtaek, with two basement levels and up to 27 floors above ground across 12 buildings, for a total of 1,098 units.
By unit type, there will be 452 units of 84 sq. m. Type A, 208 of Type B, 168 of Type C, 122 of Type D, and 148 units of 116 sq. m. Units with 84 sq. m. of exclusive area will total 950, accounting for about 86.5% of the development.
Hanwha Forena Jije Station is located in the residential catchment of PyeongtaekJije Station, considered a prime location in central Pyeongtaek. Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Campus is within a radius of about 5 km, and the development is situated in a catchment area connecting Godeok International New Town, Brain City, and downtown Pyeongtaek, providing access to major industrial complexes and office facilities.
A key strength is its access to the wider transport network via PyeongtaekJije Station. Seoul Subway Line 1 and SRT trains stop at the station, while a project to connect KTX services directly from Suwon and extensions of the Greater Capital Area Express Railway (GTX) Lines A and C to Pyeongtaek are also being pursued. Major roads, including the Pyeongtaek–Jecheon Expressway and Gyeongbu Expressway, are accessible via Songtan IC and Anseong JC.
Nearby amenities include E-Mart Pyeongtaek, Costco Pyeongtaek, Traders Wholesale Club, and Starfield Anseong. Jije Elementary School and Segyo Middle School are nearby, and residents can also use the academy district around Bijeon-dong.
The complex will include a central plaza, a daycare center, a community child-care center, a Kids Ground, a Senior Club House (senior center), and a Pet Friends Park. Planned community facilities include a book café, a premium study room, a wellness center, a GX room and Pilates studio, and shower rooms.
Hanwha Corporation E&C Division's signature designs will also be applied. The complex entrance will feature the landscaping design 'Grand Flow,' while the children's play area will showcase 'Next Flow,' which combines water play and relaxation.
An overhead electric vehicle charging system called 'EV Air Station' will be installed in the parking garage, and the elevators will feature the 'Forena Cozy Curve Elevator' design. The development will also introduce 'Forena Edge Look,' which standardizes the design of indoor wiring devices, and Samsung C&T Corporation's home platform, 'Homeniq.'
The buildings will be arranged predominantly facing south. Inside each unit, a circulation-style layout will allow movement between adjoining spaces, such as the kitchen and entrance hall, via the pantry. Types 84 sq. m. A, B, and D, among others, will have a four-bay, slab-type layout.
"Hanwha Forena Jije Station is a final-phase development in the PyeongtaekJije Station area, considered the best location in Pyeongtaek," said Jang Yeong-gi, sales director at Hanwha Corporation E&C Division. "Interest among local end users has been very high even before the model home opens, so we expect a good response to the subscription process as well."
Applications will proceed in order, beginning with special-supply applications on the 9th, followed by first-priority applications on the 10th and second-priority applications on the 11th. Successful applicants will be announced on the 18th, and contracts will be signed from November 29 to December 1.
Anyone aged 19 or older who resides anywhere in the country, including Pyeongtaek, as of the date of the housing recruitment notice is eligible to apply. Household members and homeowners may also apply in the first-priority category if they have held a housing subscription account for at least 12 months and meet the deposit requirements for their region and unit size.
