[Financial News] The market for domestically listed bond-mixed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) has more than doubled in size in a year, as Korea Investment Management Co., Ltd. prepares to hold an online seminar on asset allocation strategies for volatile markets.
Korea Investment Management Co., Ltd. said it will host a live seminar, “Hantu Station,” on the official ACE ETF YouTube channel for 30 minutes starting at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th. The seminar’s theme is “Asset Allocation Basics Revisited in an Era of Volatility.”
According to Korea Investment Management Co., Ltd., the market for domestically listed bond-mixed ETFs grew from about 8 trillion won at the end of last year to about 20 trillion won at the end of last month. The firm believes investor demand has been driven by the funds’ ability to combine stocks and bonds to reduce volatility while also being available for use in retirement pension accounts.
The seminar will also introduce six of Korea Investment Management Co., Ltd.’s bond-mixed ETFs, including the ACE Global Memory Semiconductor TOP3 Bond-Mixed Active ETF, which was listed on the 3rd.
The lineup includes the ACE U.S. S&P 500-U.S. Treasury Bond-Mixed 50 Active ETF, ACE U.S. Nasdaq-100-U.S. Treasury Bond-Mixed 50 Active ETF, ACE U.S. Dividend Quality Bond-Mixed 50 ETF, ACE Samsung Electronics-SK hynix Plus Bond-Mixed 50 ETF, and ACE NVIDIA Bond-Mixed ETF.
Yongsoo Nam, head of the ETF Division at Korea Investment Management Co., Ltd., said, “The market for domestically listed bond-mixed ETFs grew rapidly from around 8 trillion won at the end of last year to about 20 trillion won at the end of October. Investor interest has continued to increase, driven by the desire to diversify investments to weather market volatility and the ETFs’ high utility in pension accounts.”
