According to financial industry sources on the 3rd, the Social Finance Education Center under the Korea Financial Talent Development Institute is carrying out the “2026 Financial School on the Move for Financially Underserved Areas” program, organized by the Korea Council for Investor Education.
The program is being held at 12 elementary schools and one middle school in the town, township and village areas of Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province. A total of 534 students will receive financial education. Classes are led by financial education instructors certified as outstanding by the Social Finance Education Center, which is registered with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Elementary school students study how money flows and learn to spend sensibly under the theme “The Power to Manage Money: Allowance Management and the Basics of Finance.” Middle school students learn basic financial terms through a Financial Golden Bell quiz under the theme “Understanding Financial Investment.” A mock-investment game lets them experience the importance of diversification.
Meanwhile, the Social Finance Education Center at the Korea Financial Talent Development Institute provides financial education across the country to ensure that no area is left behind. This month, it plans to hold the “Hangumwon Financial Golden Bell” to improve financial literacy among young people in Jeju.
