On the 3rd, according to industry sources, KOTEC signed a “Mutual-Growth Financial Cooperation Agreement to Strengthen the Competitiveness of Small Enterprises and Small Business Owners” with the Korea Federation of Small Enterprises and Small Business Owners.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will identify promising small enterprises and small business owners and provide technology guarantees, technology assessments and other support tailored to each company's stage of growth.
They will also support the commercialization of outstanding technologies, technology transfers and transactions, and technology protection. The two organizations plan to jointly hold briefings and consultations on technology finance and corporate support programs, identify difficulties small enterprises and small business owners face in accessing finance and commercializing technology, and reflect them in support policies.
KOTEC Chairman Hyung-taek Kwon said, “The stable management and sustainable growth of small enterprises and small business owners are important to supporting the economy and people's livelihoods,” adding, “We will expand cooperation with relevant organizations so that companies with growth potential can establish a stable business foundation and enhance their technological competitiveness.”
