[Financial News] Hana Securities is introducing a service that lets customers make regular, automatic purchases of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and other products through their retirement pension accounts.
Hana Securities said on the 3rd that it would launch “ETF Accumulation,” a recurring investment service for retirement pension ETFs, on its new mobile trading system (MTS), Hana Securities V.
ETF Accumulation is a service that allows regular purchases of ETFs, exchange-traded notes (ETNs) and REITs through defined-contribution (DC) retirement pension and individual retirement pension (IRP) accounts. Investors can set the securities, purchase amount and frequency (daily, weekly or monthly), after which purchases are made automatically. The service is also available through personal pension savings accounts.
The service reduces the hassle of having to decide when to buy and place orders each time, and allows investors to build portfolios of multiple securities and diversify their pension assets.
Pension management features have also been enhanced. The “MY Pension Assets” menu allows users to view their pension assets across financial institutions in one place and check ETF balances in real time. The AI-powered “AI Pension Pro” offers customized portfolios and recommended products, while the “Tax-Saving Guide” lets users check their estimated tax-credit refunds.
Kim Seung-gyun, head of the Pension Business Group at Hana Securities, said, “ETF Accumulation is a service that lets customers manage their pension assets with a long-term perspective by regularly purchasing promising ETFs in set amounts.” He added, “We will continue to expand our differentiated pension management services to support customers in steadily building their retirement assets.”
Hana Securities ranked first among securities firms for DC and IRP returns as of the third quarter of this year. In the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s assessment of retirement pension providers, it was named an outstanding provider in the top 10% for returns on products that do not guarantee principal and interest for the fourth consecutive year.
