[Financial News] IT Eyes is partnering with NTL Healthcare to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-based women's cancer diagnostic solutions and pursue entry into overseas markets.
IT Eyes said on the 3rd that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with NTL Healthcare covering these plans.
The agreement focuses on combining IT Eyes' medical AI platform technology with NTL Healthcare's expertise in cervical cancer diagnosis. IT Eyes plans to expand its medical AI solutions portfolio from its existing cancer precision diagnostics business into women's cancer diagnostics and explore opportunities to enter domestic and overseas markets.
The two companies will work together to develop and enhance AI-based platforms and solutions for women's cancer diagnostic services. They also plan to jointly plan and carry out research and development projects drawing on their domestic and overseas sales networks and healthcare technology capabilities, pursue overseas business partnerships in the women's cancer field, and conduct pilot projects and commercialize AI precision medicine solutions.
IT Eyes is advancing its medical data integration and analysis technology, centered on its medical AI platform GENAI ME. It is expanding its business into clinical research support and precision medicine by connecting diverse medical data and using AI to structure unstructured data. The company plans to apply these technologies to women's cancer diagnostics to strengthen its solution development capabilities.
An industry official in medical AI said, "Combining medical data integration and analysis technology with diagnostic expertise in a particular disease can provide a basis for expanding the range of applications for solutions," adding, "A key challenge for commercialization will be to reflect the needs of clinical settings in the joint development process and establish efficacy through validation."
An IT Eyes official said, "With this agreement as a starting point, we plan to define more clearly how medical AI technology can be applied to women's cancer diagnostics and explore overseas business opportunities," adding, "We will continue our cooperation so that joint research and development and solution validation lead to tangible business results."
