[Financial News] Nongshim will unveil ‘Gumi Ramyun Festival Noodles,’ a limited edition made exclusively for the 2026 Gumi Ramyun Festival.
Industry sources said on the 3rd that Nongshim will take part as a key partner in the 2026 Gumi Ramyun Festival, which will be held in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, from the 6th to the 8th, and release the festival-exclusive limited edition, ‘Gumi Ramyun Festival Noodles.’
Gumi Ramyun Festival Noodles is a festival-exclusive ramyun made with flour sourced entirely from Gumi. Nongshim developed it not only to take part in Gumi’s signature festival but also to make a tangible contribution to the local economy by using domestically grown wheat produced by local farms as an ingredient in its ramyun.
Gumi Ramyun Festival Noodles delivers a deep, rich broth in the style of spicy Korean beef soup (jang-guk). It also features generous toppings such as shiitake mushrooms, carrots and bok choy, bringing out its savory umami and varied textures.
A total of 200,000 packs will be produced as a limited run at Nongshim’s Gumi factory. For consumers who may have difficulty getting to the festival site, Nongshim also plans to sell the product through its online store, Nongshim Mall, starting on the 6th.
The Gumi Ramyun Festival is a signature festival conceived by Gumi in recognition of the area’s distinctive character as the home of Nongshim’s Gumi factory, the country’s largest ramyun production hub. This year, it will take place around Gumi Station under the theme ‘The World’s Longest Ramyun Street.’
Nongshim plans to sell Shin Ramyun, Chapagetti and other products made that day at its Gumi factory at the festival site.
A Nongshim official said, “Through the Gumi Ramyun Festival’s diverse offerings, we will give visitors a different kind of enjoyment and make a tangible contribution to revitalizing the local economy.”
