[Financial News] APR's beauty brand Medicube has successfully concluded its first global relay of pop-up stores spanning the United States and Europe.
Industry sources said on the 3rd that around 15,000 people visited the 'Medicube Wellness Club X2' pop-ups, which opened in sequence from September through the end of last month in New York and Los Angeles (LA) in the United States, London in the United Kingdom, and Paris in France. Each location drew an average of at least 1,000 visitors a day.
At the pop-ups, APR focused on promoting Medicube AGE-R's newly launched 'Booster Pro X2' in each market and showcasing its beauty-tech capabilities.
It was the brand's first pop-up in Europe since its launch. Advance reservations in London and Paris filled up quickly early in the events, and queues reportedly continued at the venues. The experiential area, where visitors could get recommendations for beauty-device settings and drink healthy smoothies, drew the strongest response.
APR plans to further expand its offline presence in North America and Europe, starting with these pop-ups. This month, it is holding a solo pop-up in Madrid, Spain, in collaboration with Primo, a leading local drugstore.
An APR representative said, “The event allowed us to confirm Medicube's popularity locally and effectively establish the brand's identity,” adding, “Going forward, we will target offline markets to solidify the brand's foothold and grow it into a global beauty brand.”
