According to industry sources on the 2nd, MultiCampus held the Korea HR Summit 2026 at The Westin Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul, on October 30. The event was held under the theme “From Individual Productivity to Organizational Productivity: 2027 HR Strategy for AI-First Organizations.”
The Korea HR Summit is a breakfast and networking event for CHRO-level leaders that MultiCampus has held quarterly since 2024.
Kim Sungjun, a professor at Kookmin University’s Graduate School of Business, spoke at the event, examining how the spread of AI affects individuals’ work practices and collaboration within organizations, and outlining issues HR should focus on in 2027.
Professor Kim assessed that even if AI boosts individual work efficiency, improving productivity across the organization is a separate matter. He explained that, for individual productivity gains to translate into organizational performance, existing work processes must be redesigned and the roles of humans and AI redefined. He also stressed the importance of strengthening leaders’ ability to drive organizational change.
At this year’s event, MultiCampus discussed challenges HR must address in the AX transition, including corporate survival strategies in an era of sweeping AI transformation, developing future talent and improving organizational productivity. Next year, it plans to broaden the discussion to focus on generating tangible results. The company plans to work with HR leaders to develop concrete implementation measures around redesigning how work is done and managing AX performance, and to support companies’ AX transitions and business growth.
