[Financial News] An event to examine how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the content industry and explore opportunities for companies to attract investment and pursue business partnerships will be held in Incheon.
On the 2nd, Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) said it will host 'ICNX 2026 (Incheon International Conference on Advanced Media)' at Grand Ballroom Halls A and B of Songdo Convensia on the 3rd and 4th. Hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City and organized by Incheon TP, the event will bring together people from the domestic and international content, technology and investment sectors.
First launched last year with AI and immersive media as its themes, ICNX is focusing this year on exploring opportunities for business cooperation in the platform and entertech industries. Its theme is 'Connecting Entertech, Expanding Business.' The program will include an international conference, business-to-business (B2B) business matching, and business-to-consumer (B2C) exhibition and hands-on programs for general visitors.
The conference will focus on 'Platform Business' on the first day and 'Entertech Business' on the second. Speakers will include Darren Frankel, Adobe's head of film and TV, and Jeff Kember, a senior technical evangelist at NVIDIA Media2.
Twenty-six companies, including investment firms such as venture capital (VC) firms and accelerators (ACs), buyers and related organizations, will participate in the business matching. Twenty consultation booths will be set up to help participating companies attract investment and pursue business partnerships. Seventeen companies will showcase advanced media content in the exhibition and hands-on section.
The opening ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. on the 3rd. Kim Sung-jung, Incheon Metropolitan City's vice mayor for administrative affairs, National Assembly member Chung Il-young, and Kim Dae-young, chair of the Incheon Metropolitan Council's Public Administration and Safety Committee, are expected to attend.
