According to DL Group on the 2nd, its 2027 executive appointments focused on tangible results, execution, and the ability to drive work innovation through data and AI. Of the 17 new executives, four were born in the 1980s and three are women.
DL Group said it had given key roles to people who diagnosed problems in their areas of work, found solutions, and translated them into results. Leadership capable of changing existing work practices and driving collaboration across the organization was also a key evaluation criterion.
DL E&C appointed two new female executives, including the first woman to serve as an executive in its Civil Engineering Business Division. As of November 1, women accounted for five executives in total, or 13% of all executives. GLAD Hotel also appointed a woman executive.
DL Group is also pursuing an organizational restructuring to respond to the AI transformation (AX). DL E&C plans to establish a Data Planning Team to strengthen its ability to identify and solve on-site problems using data.
A DL Group official said, "The key to these appointments is to give greater opportunities to people who have proven their capabilities by delivering results in their respective fields." The official added, "We will strengthen our future competitiveness by focusing on hands-on leaders who can solve problems using data and AI and transform the way we work."
