[Financial News] As “sleepnomics”—spending without holding back to get a good night’s sleep—gains traction, demand for hotel-style bedding is rising. Following its collaboration with Banyan Tree Seoul, CJ OnStyle is expanding its premium bedding lineup with bedding developed in partnership with Walkerhill.
According to industry sources on the 2nd, CJ OnStyle will launch a living bedding collection co-developed with Walkerhill on the 7th. The products bring the feel and materials of hotel-room bedding into the home, and the first offering is a bedding set made with graphene.
Earlier, on the 27th of last month, CJ OnStyle unveiled the “AtSential Prestige Hotel-Style Bedding Full Set,” developed in collaboration between its own home-living brand AtSential and Banyan Tree Seoul.
Alongside the hotel collaboration products, CJ OnStyle is also holding a special promotion featuring premium bedding brands. Seventeen brands, including Homuro, Airloom, AllerMann and CrispyBaba, are taking part in “Warm Bedding Week,” which runs through the 8th. Products in high demand during winter, such as microfiber, heated, wool and lambswool bedding, will be featured in succession through mobile and TV live broadcasts.
CJ OnStyle plans to continue expanding its hotel collaborations and product lineup from specialist brands in response to growing demand for premium bedding as interest in a good night’s sleep increases.
A CJ OnStyle representative said, “As interest in a good night’s sleep grows, more customers are seeking premium bedding. Drawing on our strengths in curating products that respond quickly to trends and turning them into engaging video content, we will continue to introduce differentiated bedding products.”
