PRbom said on the 2nd that its HPV prevention campaign with MSD Korea, “A Virus has no gender,” placed third overall at the 2026 Global SABRE Awards, held in Chicago, U.S., on the 26th of last month.
The Global SABRE Awards is an international awards program organized by PRovoke Media, a specialist PR publication. This year, more than 5,500 entries from around 60 countries were submitted, and the campaign was the only one from South Korea among the 40 final award winners.
Over the past 10 years, the two companies have used the campaign to raise awareness that HPV can infect both men and women and to emphasize the need for prevention. It has focused on correcting the social misconception that HPV-related diseases are exclusively a women’s issue and building support for the need for vaccination among both men and women.
The campaign previously won the top honor, the Platinum SABRE Award, at the Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards held in Singapore last August. After taking the region’s top prize, it also placed among the top contenders on the global stage.
PRbom CEO Jeon Eun-jeong said, “Our awareness-raising work over the past 10 years has received international recognition,” adding, “We will continue to contribute to social value in healthcare and the advancement of public health.”
