[Financial News] SK ecoplant is fully launching a “one AI agent per person” system to develop and deploy AI agents optimized for each role. The goal is to analyze employees’ actual work data and identify ways to use AI suited to their roles.
According to SK ecoplant on the 2nd, the company recently analyzed internal work data for each employee. AI agents directly analyzed actual work data to identify each employee’s work characteristics and bottlenecks, and developed tailored AX (AI transformation) solutions.
The tailored AX solutions are set to be introduced first at major project sites, including semiconductor and AI data center projects. SK ecoplant plans to use AI agents to automate repetitive tasks such as compiling materials and writing basic reports, helping site staff focus on core duties, including quality reviews, construction issue response and safety management.
The company has also begun operating AI Fab, an employee development platform, and AI Portal, which distributes the agents they create. Its dedicated in-house AI organization links coaching with short-term development courses, helping employees turn ideas from the field into systems within two to three weeks.
SK ecoplant is also steadily developing frontline personnel to lead the use of AI. This year, it trained 318 domain AI experts focused on frontline operations through an internal skills development program. Drawing on their practical knowledge and ability to build AI agents, they develop agents themselves to meet the needs of each department.
SK ecoplant plans to continue expanding its use of AI in line with SK Group’s “AX-centered management” policy. An SK ecoplant official said, “We plan to broaden the scope of AI agent applications together with domain experts in frontline operations and support employees so they can focus on core duties.”
