【Financial News Chuncheon=Kim Gi-seop, Reporter】Chuncheon City is once again offering one-on-one admissions counseling sessions with in-service teachers for high school seniors who have taken the CSAT and middle and high school students considering their future paths.
According to Chuncheon City on the 2nd, the second round of admissions counseling will take place over two days, on the 28th and 29th, in the lobby outside the main conference room on the first floor of City Hall. Applications will be accepted through a dedicated website on a first-come, first-served basis starting that day and will close once all places are filled.
In-service teachers affiliated with the Gangwon College Admissions Support Center will provide the counseling. Using students’ individual materials, including school records and mock exam scores, they will offer high school seniors strategies for applying through regular admissions, and students from their final year of middle school through their second year of high school guidance on admissions tailored to each grade, taking student-record management and grades into account.
The city is holding the counseling again following the strong response to its first session in July. Advance registration closed early at the time, and 320 students and parents received counseling over the two days.
A city official said, “The fact that 320 people turned out for counseling this past July shows that many students and parents want individualized advice,” adding, “We hope this will be an opportunity to review school records and mock exam scores together with in-service teachers and develop concrete plans for further study suited to each person’s circumstances.”
