[Financial News] AI is changing how content is created and distributed. Against this backdrop, ICNX 2026 (Incheon International Advanced Media Conference), which explores business opportunities in the entertainment technology industry, will be held on the 3rd and 4th at Songdo Convensia in Incheon. It is organized by Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP).
Hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City, the event will take place in Grand Ballroom Halls A and B at Songdo Convensia under the theme “Connecting Entertainment Tech, Expanding Business.” Participants from the content, technology and investment sectors in Korea and abroad will attend. The program includes an international conference, B2B business matchmaking, and B2C exhibitions and hands-on activities.
The opening ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. on the first day, the 3rd. Attendees are expected to include Kim Sung-jung, Incheon Metropolitan City's vice mayor for administration; National Assembly member Chung Il-young (Yeonsu B, Incheon); and Kim Dae-young, chair of the Incheon Metropolitan Council's Public Administration and Security Committee.
The international conference will focus on “Platform Business” on the first day and “Entertainment Tech Business” on the second. Domestic and international experts will speak, including Darren Frankel, head of film and TV at Adobe, and Jeff Kember, senior technical evangelist for NVIDIA Media2. They will share insights on AI-based content creation and distribution, changes in the platform industry, and IP businesses. YouTubers JoCoding and Geekble will take part in a talk concert about changes in AI and the content industry.
A total of 26 companies will participate in the B2B business matchmaking, including investment firms such as venture capital firms (VCs) and accelerators (ACs), as well as buyers and related organizations. Twenty consultation booths will be run to help participating companies attract investment and develop business partnerships. Seventeen companies will take part in the B2C exhibition and hands-on activities, showcasing advanced media content and a range of interactive programs.
An Incheon TP representative said, “We hope ICNX 2026 will become a practical venue for business exchange that connects content, technology and investment,” adding, “We will continue to support Incheon-based content companies in strengthening their global competitiveness and entering overseas markets.”
Further details about the event and registration are available on the official website.
