[Financial News] MegazoneCloud has stepped up efforts to help domestic small and midsize game companies enter overseas markets. At a gaming expo in Thailand, it is working to expand Korean companies’ access to overseas markets by arranging business meetings with local publishers and creating opportunities for cooperation.
MegazoneCloud said on the 2nd that it had operated a joint pavilion, the “Korea Game Innovation Hub,” with the Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association (KOSA) at “Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026,” held in Bangkok, Thailand, on the 29th and 30th of last month.
Ten small and midsize companies from Korea’s gaming industry took part in the event. MegazoneCloud and KOSA arranged one-on-one meetings so participating companies could meet local businesses, including Thai game developers and publishers, and discuss potential business opportunities.
Ahead of the expo, a separate networking event called “Mega Night” was also held in Bangkok on the 28th of last month. Around 60 people from participating Korean companies and Thailand’s gaming industry attended, sharing updates on the local market and discussing ways to cooperate.
The support is part of the “Support Program for Joint Overseas Expansion by Large and Small Businesses,” promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Foundation for Cooperation of Large & Small Business, Rural Affairs (KOFCA). MegazoneCloud led the program, with KOSA participating as the implementing organization.
This year, MegazoneCloud supported 30 small and midsize Korean companies in the AI, software (SW) and gaming sectors in expanding overseas in Japan, Singapore, Thailand and other markets. It ran programs tailored to each company’s needs, covering everything from providing local market information and identifying potential customers to facilitating business meetings and investor networking.
The company plans to continue supporting follow-up consultations and identifying local cooperation opportunities so participating companies can move toward actual export contracts, technology validation or business partnerships.
MegazoneCloud Chairman Lee Juwan said, “We will use our global hubs and expertise in AI and cloud, along with KOSA’s industry-specific network, to help domestic small and midsize businesses secure overseas customers and partners.”
