[Financial News] Hyundai Department Store will open the Special Exhibition of Winning Works from the 41st Children's Drawing Contest through the 22nd at MOKA Library on the third floor of Hyundai Premium Outlet Space1 in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
According to industry sources on the 1st, Hyundai Department Store's Children's Drawing Contest is the company's signature family cultural event, which has continued for about 40 years since 1985. This year's contest was held under the theme “The Art I've Encountered.”
The exhibition will showcase 39 notable works selected from around 10,000 entries submitted to the contest, including works recognized with the Hyundai Department Store President's Award, the Director of the Hyundai Museum of Kids' Books and Art Award, the Korean Fine Arts Association President's Award, and awards from deans of arts colleges at major universities.
An artificial intelligence (AI) docent service conveys the stories and intentions behind the children's works. Visitors can scan the QR code attached beside a work with a smartphone to view a description of the work, judges' comments, and more. Starting on the 6th, a virtual reality (VR) online exhibition will also be available through Hyundai Department Store's website.
Noh Jeong-min, director of the Hyundai Museum of Kids' Books and Art at Hyundai Department Store, said, “We will continue to present content that allows children to engage more closely with culture and the arts and express their creativity.”
