[Financial News] Samsung Electronics is expanding content that helps consumers connect with its AI home appliances. Around 30 creators who have so far focused on lifestyle content will become AI home-appliance creators as part of the ‘Samsung Crew’ and plan to share ways to use Samsung AI home appliances, their experiences using them and changes in everyday life over three months.
Samsung Electronics said on the 1st that it had held the launch ceremony for the first Samsung Crew cohort on October 30 at CGV The Private Cinema in Cheongdam, Gangnam District, Seoul. The event marked the launch of Samsung Crew and included a presentation of plans for its activities.
Samsung Electronics prepared welcome videos featuring each creator’s profile, as well as photo zones, to strengthen their sense of belonging as Samsung Crew members. It also set aside time for the creators to network with one another.
The creators will make content set in their own homes and reflecting their distinctive lifestyles. The content will focus on the distinctive services offered by Samsung Electronics across the entire customer journey, from purchase to use, including product reviews, delivery, professional installation and after-sales care. The content will be available on various channels, including the creators’ Instagram, YouTube and Naver Blog accounts.
Samsung Electronics will provide the latest AI home-appliance products to help Samsung Crew members create a range of content, and offer them opportunities to take part in official brand events, special seminars and classes. It will also help the creators connect with one another and share ways to connect different home appliances and techniques for filming content.
Starting with the launch of the first Samsung Crew cohort, Samsung Electronics plans to continue its long-term collaboration with creators and draw on their firsthand feedback to improve its products and services.
Park Jeong-mi, a vice president at Samsung Electronics Korea Headquarters, said, “We hope that, through the candid experiences of creators who have cherished and trusted Samsung AI home appliances for a long time, more consumers will come to appreciate the convenience and value these appliances bring to everyday life,” adding, “We plan to continue developing Samsung Crew and expand our points of contact with consumers across a wider range of platforms.”
