[Financial News] Robotworld 2026 (ROBOTWORLD 2026), the country’s largest specialized exhibition for the robotics industry, will be held over four days, from November 4 to 7, in Halls 3–5 of Exhibition Hall 1 at KINTEX in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province.
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and jointly organized by the Korea Association of AI Robot Industry (KAR), the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement (KIRIA), and the Society of Control, Robotics and Systems, the event will feature about 400 companies from 20 countries and 1,200 booths. This year, its key themes are humanoids, Manufacturing AX (M.AX), and Physical AI. The event will spotlight the development of AI robotics and examples of its application in industrial settings, while supporting technology exchange and business collaboration between Korean and international companies.
The exhibition’s focus this year is Physical AI-based robotics technology that goes beyond having robots repeat predefined movements: it enables them to perceive their surroundings, make decisions based on the situation, and carry out tasks.
The exhibition will showcase task intelligence based on Vision-Language-Action (VLA), which integrates vision, language, and action, as well as next-generation robotics platforms such as humanoids, quadruped robots, and mobile manipulators. It will also demonstrate the potential for robots to be used in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, shipbuilding, and construction through a range of technologies, including collaborative robots, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), AI vision, core robot components and modules, and software.
A major highlight will be Manufacturing AX technology, which uses AI to analyze manufacturing data and optimize the movements of robots and production equipment. The exhibition will also present advances in intelligent automation, including digital-twin-based simulations and Sim-to-Real technology, which applies the results learned in virtual environments to real robots.
The event will also operate six special exhibition zones—Humanoids, Food Tech, Healthcare, K-Robot Future Talent, Startups, and KAIST Super-Gap—to showcase a broad range of innovations, from next-generation robotics platforms and industry-specific applications to technologies developed by promising companies. Global companies such as NVIDIA Corporation, Qualcomm, and Hyundai Motor Company will take part in the conference, and overseas robotics companies representing countries including China, Japan, and Canada are also set to exhibit, offering a chance to see domestic and international technology and industry trends in one place.
The 2026 International Robot Business Conference, held alongside the exhibition from November 4 to 5, will feature 36 sessions under the main theme “Manufacturing, Reimagined by AI and Robotics.” The program is organized into three tracks: M.AX (Manufacturing AX), humanoids and Physical AI, and mobility. Major Korean and international companies and experts, including NVIDIA Corporation, Qualcomm, Hyundai Motor Company, and Booster Robotics, will take part in discussions on manufacturing innovation and intelligent automation, humanoid task intelligence and industrial applications, and the convergence of future mobility and robotics technology.
To support tangible business results for participating companies, Robotworld will also host export and purchasing consultation sessions connecting domestic and international buyers with companies, seminars on strategies for entering overseas markets, and Global Scale-up Day for attracting foreign investment and fostering business cooperation. The Robotworld Awards, which recognize outstanding technologies and products, will also spotlight participating companies’ technological competitiveness. In addition, the event will offer programs to support future talent, including robot demonstrations and special exhibitions where visitors can see the capabilities of Korean robotics companies firsthand, showcases of innovative technologies from young people and startups, and an Educational Robot Experience Zone to foster interest in robots.
