TS Vehicle Inspection Booking Service Named Best in Public Review of Digital Service Opening

[Financial News] The Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) vehicle inspection booking service was named the top case in the public review of digital service opening initiatives, in recognition of the convenience it offers through private-sector apps.
TS said it received the top rating in the public review of outstanding services at the 2026 Digital Service Opening Performance Sharing Event, hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 30th. The event was held to select and award four exemplary digital services provided through public-private collaboration.
TS provides a service that lets users book vehicle inspections on NAVER Map or go directly to the booking screen through inspection-period notices they receive on KakaoTalk.
The service was highly rated for allowing users to receive inspection-period notices and make bookings in one go through familiar private-sector apps, without signing up for a separate public website. TS said this has helped reduce cases in which people miss their inspection period and incur fines, while improving convenience.
TS President Yong-Sik Jung said, "Our efforts to break down barriers between the private sector and government and provide services that meet the public’s expectations have led to this meaningful achievement: being named the best in the public review," adding, "We will continue to actively pursue the opening of digital services and innovation so that people can use TS public services more conveniently in their daily lives."
