“Strengthening delivery competitiveness” ... Shinsegae Live Shopping expands logistics cooperation with CJ Logistics

[Financial News] Shinsegae Live Shopping is set to pursue mid- to long-term logistics cooperation with CJ Logistics. Building on their existing delivery-service partnership, the company plans to expand the scope of cooperation to include upgrading logistics infrastructure and jointly planning new services.
According to industry sources on the 30th, Shinsegae Live Shopping signed an MOU with CJ Logistics that day at its headquarters in Seongdong District, Seoul, for mid- to long-term logistics cooperation.
Under the agreement, the two companies agreed to establish a stable logistics operations system and cooperate on upgrading logistics infrastructure and identifying new services. They will also work together to improve customer service quality and operational efficiency in response to changes in the retail environment.
The companies will also jointly review logistics services needed for new businesses. On this basis, they plan to identify differentiated delivery and logistics services that can enhance customer convenience.
Shinsegae Live Shopping and CJ Logistics have previously jointly operated Jigeum Quick, which delivers orders in the Seoul area within 5 hours; Shinsegae Live Shopping O-NE, which directly manages products shipped by partner companies; next-day delivery; and seven-day-a-week delivery.
A Shinsegae Live Shopping official said, “Logistics services are one of the key competitive strengths that shape the customer experience,” adding, “Building on our cooperation with CJ Logistics, we will not only establish a stable logistics infrastructure but also continue to offer a range of services for customer convenience.”
