[Financial News] Mario Outlet is opening an immersive pop-up exhibition based on the hit webtoon The Remarried Empress, alongside a fall/winter (F/W) clothing sale.
According to industry sources on the 30th, Mario Outlet officially opened the WEBTOON exhibition for The Remarried Empress that day on the seventh floor of Building 1 in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul. The exhibition features the artist’s unreleased original sketches, costumes worn by major characters, and photo zones set against the backdrop of the imperial palace in the webtoon.
Customers who purchase premium tickets can take part in an extended reality (XR) experience that lets them walk through a virtual imperial palace. A Photo Signature booth will also offer limited-edition four-cut photo frames featuring the protagonists, Navier and Heinrey.
A seasonal discount event is also taking place across all buildings alongside the pop-up opening. Building 1 is offering discounts on women’s clothing, men’s outerwear, and footwear from brands including ABF.Z and Off Limits. Building 3 is offering special prices on products from casual brands such as Superdry, Outdoor Products, and BEENTRILL, as well as Black Yak. Major brands including Lacoste, Millet, K2, Skechers, and Under Armour are also participating in the sale.
Mario Outlet plans to use the event to tap into demand for both webtoon-based immersive content and seasonal shopping.
