Ahn Hyun, a technology expert who has led the development of AI memory, including High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and SOCAMM, is considered well suited to the role, with experience in business and strategy as well as global capabilities.
Cha Sun-yong, president and head of the Future Technology Research Institute, has been appointed president in charge of development and will concurrently serve as head of the institute. Recognized for his expertise in advanced semiconductor technologies at SK hynix, Cha is expected to focus on strengthening links between future technologies and product development.
Yoon Poong-young, a president responsible for the SK Supex Council and for SK hynix’s Global Growth Task Force (TF), has been appointed president overseeing the Corporate Center.
