[Financial News] APR recorded cumulative sales of 2 trillion won for the first three quarters of 2026, surpassing its full-year results from last year.
APR said on the 7th that its consolidated revenue and operating profit for the third quarter of this year were tentatively tallied at 773.1 billion won and 160.6 billion won, respectively. These figures were up 100.3% and 68.9%, respectively, from the same period a year earlier.
Cumulative revenue and operating profit through the third quarter were 2.134 trillion won and 503.5 billion won, respectively, surpassing last year's full-year results in just three quarters.
APR continued to post record quarterly revenue in the third quarter. Despite Amazon Prime Day being moved up from July to June, global sales continued to grow, buoyed by the expansion of distribution networks, particularly in the United States and Europe.
APR's beauty brand Medicube surpassed 2 trillion won in sales on a single-brand basis.
APR's overseas revenue in the third quarter was 722.9 billion won, up 135% from the same period a year earlier. Overseas sales accounted for as much as 94% of total revenue. North America and Europe, which accounted for 46% and 23% of total revenue, respectively, have become key markets for APR. Their combined share of sales rose to 69% in the third quarter of this year, from 47% in the same quarter last year.
In North America, offline distribution networks are also expanding alongside the growth of major online channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shop. This year, sales networks expanded through major local retailers such as Target, Walmart and Costco, and APR is also slated to enter around 3,000 CVS Pharmacy stores in the United States by year-end.
The outlook for the fourth quarter, a peak season for global consumer spending, is also positive. Ahead of Black Friday and the Christmas season, APR plans to expand its online and offline sales presence in major global markets, including North America and Europe, and target year-end demand with products and promotions tailored to local needs.
An APR official said, "Despite the relative lack of major events on key global channels and the continued strength of the won in the third quarter, we set a new quarterly sales record and continued to grow our global business." The official added, "We expect sales to continue expanding in key markets as the fourth-quarter global peak season for consumer spending gets underway."
