[Financial News]  Sh Suhyup Bank has revamped its mobile banking app, Partner Bank, to make it more convenient for customers. It has introduced new transfer features that use account-number scanning and contact information, and plans to expand remote services for foreign customers.
According to the financial industry on the 30th, Suhyup Bank has improved Partner Bank’s screen layout and features, focusing on transfer services that customers use frequently. The transfer screen now has separate tabs for recent transfers, frequent transfers, and a list of the customer’s accounts, allowing users to access the functions they want more quickly.
The bank has also introduced new transfer features. Its new “Photo Transfer” service automatically recognizes an account number captured with a mobile phone camera, reducing the inconvenience of having to enter the number manually. It has also added a “Contact Transfer” feature that lets users send money using only contact information, even if they do not know the recipient’s account number.
In November, the bank plans to significantly improve the registration and lookup procedures for its automatic transfer service.
The bank will also strengthen its remote financial services for foreign customers. In November, Suhyup Bank plans to add physical foreign resident registration cards as a means of identity verification, allowing foreign customers to raise their transfer limits remotely without visiting a branch. It plans to expand the range of services in the future to include remote account opening and identity verification.
Suhyup Bank President Shin Hak-gi said, “The value of digital finance begins with the convenience customers experience,” adding, “We will continue to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen Suhyup Bank’s unique competitiveness through ongoing service enhancements and customer-focused services.”
