[Financial News] The International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK) and Hansung University will work together to identify overseas market information by leveraging international students and professionals, and to connect urban development with various industries through industry-academia cooperation.
According to the association, the two organizations signed an agreement at Hansung University on the 29th to identify market information in the overseas construction sector and expand industry-academia cooperation. The core of the agreement is to link the university’s global human and academic resources with the association’s expertise and network in overseas construction.
Under the agreement, international students and professionals, including those from the Graduate School of Real Estate, will be tapped to collect and analyze local market information. The partners will also develop cross-sector K-content and collaborative projects that combine real estate, beauty and fashion with overseas construction and urban development. They plan to share information and professional networks and pursue joint initiatives, including seminars, forums and training programs.
Han Man-hee, chairman of ICAK, said, "We will expand our networks with foreign government officials and professionals, and connect academia’s strengths in promising fields such as urban development and real estate with industry to identify new opportunities for overseas expansion."
