[Financial News] Grand Moment Youth Hostel (CEO Kim Do-hwan) said on the 29th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Busan Global Village (CEOs Lee Sang-jin and Jeong Yong-sik) to cooperate on promoting youth activities and contributing to the local community.
The signing ceremony was held at 10 a.m. that day at Grand Moment Youth Hostel.
The event was attended by officials from both organizations, including Kim Do-hwan, CEO of Grand Moment Youth Hostel; Park Su-young, operations representative; and Park Tae-mun, manager; as well as Lee Sang-jin, CEO of Busan Global Village, and division heads Joo Eun-young and Kim Jeong-min.
The agreement covers exchanges of programs to promote youth activities and contribute to the local community; cooperation in planning and operating educational and experiential programs, including global camps for local youth; and active use of and promotional cooperation around each other’s infrastructure and facilities.
The combination of Grand Moment Youth Hostel’s actively run specialized experiential programs, including ‘Urban Farmer Youth Farm,’ ‘Ask the Stars!’ and ‘Domino Utopia,’ with Busan Global Village’s excellent foreign-language education and global cultural experience system is expected to create synergies.
The partnership is expected to provide young people in the Busan area with opportunities for more diverse, higher-quality integrated activities.
Kim Do-hwan, CEO of Grand Moment Youth Hostel, said, “This agreement has laid a solid foundation for local young people to broaden their horizons and grow into global talent.” He added, “We will continue to work actively with relevant local community organizations for mutual benefit, support the healthy growth of young people, and do our utmost to be a youth training facility that fulfills its social responsibilities.”
Lee Sang-jin, CEO of Busan Global Village, said, “By combining Grand Moment Youth Hostel’s excellent facilities and experiential programs with Busan Global Village’s educational expertise, we can provide local young people with the best possible integrated learning environment.” He added, “The two organizations will work closely together to offer diverse and substantive programs that will help Busan’s future generations pursue their dreams on the world stage.”
Last August, Grand Moment Youth Hostel was named an outstanding accommodation facility in the ‘2026 KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Evaluation’ for the second consecutive time. It continues to carry out a range of activities to promote youth engagement and contribute to the local community, including youth club activities (traditional Korean archery, beauty care, upcycling, and more), operating experiential booths at youth festivals, and the Youth Dream Sharing Center.
