[Financial News] Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. forecast that memory supply would be short in 2028 as well as in 2027.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. said during its third-quarter earnings conference call on the 29th, “Unprecedented memory demand remains strong as competition in AI infrastructure accelerates in 2027 as well, while supply will be difficult to increase in the short term, and is expected to remain tight in 2028.”
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. emphasized, “Based on an overall assessment of analyses by various market research firms, tight supply conditions are expected in 2028 as well,” and “Even if overall production increases in 2027, it is expected to be difficult to increase production in 2028 as well.”
